Due to the resounding success of last years camp we are thrilled to offer our second Canada Confidence Camp at our Hess Education Canada Centre in Vancouver in the summer of 2010.

Our Canada Confidence Camp marks an important milestone for Hess, officially taking our blended East/West educational philosophy beyond Asia. Since 1983 we have worked tirelessly to refine our unique blend of learning, capturing the strengths of both the Asian and Western educational philosophies. Our Confidence Camps are one of our hallmark opportunities for students to capitalize on our educational approach. We offered our first Taiwan Confidence Camp in 2002 at Taipei National University of the Arts in Kuan Du, Taiwan.

In 2004, after two amazing years in Kuan Du, we determined it was time to stretch our students a little further out of their comfort zones and guide them to build their confidence in Singapore. Since 2004, our Singapore Confidence Camp has been taking our students out of Taiwan, but still in Asia for an intense week of cultural and personal discovery…ALL IN ENGLISH!

Our Canada Confidence Camp pushes our students even further, spending three weeks developing essential language skills and understanding of a multi-cultural western country.

I feel very fortunate to have been part of our Confidence Camp team since the seed was first planted in 2002; designing, developing, planning, selecting and training teachers, etc…but most of all seeing our students blossom like summer roses! Amazing! This year, I am especially pleased to offer our ALL ENGLISH Canada Confidence Camp in my home country and cordially extend you the warmest of welcomes.
